Montecarotto

The center of the small, pretty town of Montecarotto can be reached on foot in 3 minutes.
Here you will find a theatre, a supermarket, a pizzeria, a pharmacy, two hairdressers, a kiosk, a post office, a bank and a bar.

Serra de Conti

Serra de Conti is the next largest community near Montecarotto.

Moie and Jesi

They are the closest major cities to Montecarotto. They are about 10-15 minutes away by car and offer a nice variety with their cafés and larger shops.

Senigallia

The coastal town of Senigallia with its 14 km long beautiful sandy beach is about 30 minutes’ drive from Montecarotto. Here you can stroll through the city, lie on the beach, walk along the beach promenade or enjoy Italian cuisine in one of the numerous cafés and restaurants.

The Frasassi Caves

They are also called Grotti di Frasassi and are among the most famous show caves in Italy. They are also the largest caves in Europe along with the Abisso Ancona. A visit in summer is a welcome way to cool off.

Conero

Monte Conero is a promontory on the Adriatic Sea between Portonovo and Sirolo. The Riviera del Conero is a 20 km stretch of the Italian Adriatic coast south of Ancona.

Assisi

Even the approx. 1 hour 15 minute drive to Assisi is beautiful. The Basilica of San Franceso, the Basilica of Santa Clara, the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, San Damiano and the special atmosphere of the city let you immerse yourself in another world.

San Benedetto del Tronto

The old fishing village which has become a seaside resort is about 1 hour 30 minutes drive south – along the sea. The palm-lined promenade is ideal for strolling and the beach is acclaimed worldwide for its pristine beauty.
